Chris is a graduate of the University of Westminster's Faculty of Communication and written extensively about broadcasting since 1988.
Whilst employed by 21st Century Publishing in the period 1989-1996, he edited the Television Business International and Cable and Satellite Yearbooks, two of the most highly regarded annual publications in the broadcast industry. He also contributed regularly to a number of titles and became a leading expert on the television markets of Central and Eastern Europe.
In the period 1997-2000, while working for FT Business and subsequently the Informa Group, he launched and edited TV East Europe, the first and only publication dedicated solely to developments in Central and Eastern Europe's television industry. More recently, he has edited Cable Europe and produced management reports on Central and East European broadcasting for both the FT and Advanced TV, as well as on the European broadband sector for PBI Media.
Chris is currently an independent media analyst and writer and contributes to several publications including Cable and Satellite Europe, Television Business International, Euromedia and the DTG's Digital News. He also edits and publishes the weekly newsletter Broadband TV News Central and East Europe and is associate editor of New Television Insider.
