Christoph is an attorney with the law firm ERBE in Berlin, acting as defending counsel in criminal cases as well as advising in the field of intellectual property and entertainment law. He represents a number of film and television writers, producers and directors. Christoph has a growing experience in mediating disputes arising out of claims of format plagiarism.
In 2002, Christoph joined FRAPA, the international format industry association dedicated to the protection of television formats.
Christoph is head of studies at the Film Industry Training and at the Essential Legal Framework program of the European Commission. He is a member of the International Association of Entertainment Lawyers. In 2004, Christoph was elected board member of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, the "International Emmys" in New York.
Christoph has written widely on entertainment business, format protection, copyright and alternative dispute resolution.
