Expert analyst teams

Daniel Simmons in an analyst in Screen Digest's television and broadcast technology team. Playing an integral role in developing Screen Digest's TV Technology Intelligence service Daniel's knowledge base is centered around customer premises equipment markets such as set-top boxes, television sets, conditional access and middleware. In complement to the intelligence service, Daniel has undertaken an array of bespoke consultancy projects centered around the entire TV technology value chain.

Prior to joining Screen Digest Daniel graduated from the University of Surrey with a BSc in Physics. Daniel was also awarded an Associateship of the University of Surrey with distinction for undertaking a professional training year with Mitsubishi Electric ITE's Visual Information Laboratory where he was involved in developing video processing algorithms.
