MARIA RUA AGUETE is a senior analyst with Screen Digest. She has been researching and analyzing TV operators in Europe for the last seven years. Maria specialises in developing different statistical models to forecast operational growth of media companies in Europe.

She has participated in a number of reports including the annual European Cable Yearbook, European Digital Pay Television: Market assessment and forecast to 2006 and European Digital Pay Television Revenues: Market assessment and forecasts to 2006.

Maria holds a degree in Economics and Business Studies from Vigo University (Spain), and an MBA from Cardiff Business School.
