Maria holds a degree in Economics and Business Studies from Vigo University (Spain), and an MBA from Cardiff Business School.

Romania has the highest cable TV penetration in all Central and Eastern Europe, with 52 per cent of all TVHH subscribing to cable at the end of 2004. But the market is still underdeveloped.
