Steve recently joined the Games team at Screen Digest as a Research Analyst . Steve leaves behind an accomplished career in games journalism which took in a variety of magazine roles as well as editorship of Teletext's games portal, GameCentral. Most recently Steve lent his distinctive voice to influential games periodical, Edge, as a freelance writer. Over the last six years Steve has written thousands of published pages on video games in the specialist press.

Prior to this, Steve attended Cardiff University, completing a Ph.D. in Mathematics, with a heavy emphasis on on numerical analysis. Not surprisingly, his interests include video games.
