Consumer spending on retail Blu-ray
Last updated:
February 09, 2012
This table shows consumer spending on buying Blu-ray Disc units in all countries covered by Video Intelligence for which data is available. Data reflects spending on all mainstream, legitimate video content (including domestic titles but excluding most ?adult? content). Consumer spending on retail (sell-through) BD data is presented in separate sheets for local currency, US$ and Euros, with the latter two available at both variable (annual average exchange rates) and fixed (to the latest calendar year) exchange rates. Spending figures are inclusive of VAT/sales tax except in the US/Canada where it is not possible to calculate this.
