Thailand flood and Its ripple effect on the cinema sector

We have added a webinar on the effects of the severe floods in Thailand to the Cinema Intelligence service (see under Presentations) for the benefit of clients. The webinar looks at the impact of the floods on various industrial sectors, amongst them Hard Drives (HDD). As concerns the cinema sector, hard drives are currently one of the most popular methods of distributing films to cinema in a digital format and the floods may impact the supply of HDDs into the market. The webinar examines which companies have been affected, how this may affect supply and a timeline of how long the effects may be felt.
