Starz Drops Renewal Talks with Netflix

Starz announced 1st September that it is discontinuing negotiations with Netflix aimed at extending their licensing deal beyond its February, 2012 expiration date, citing its need 'to protect the premium nature of our brand by preserving the appropriate pricing and packaging of our exclusive and highly valuable content'.
