The expansion of Screen Digest's Television Intelligence service continues with the addition of a new data section quantifying the size and value of the television and related advertising markets. The tables include historical and 5-year forecast data.
Data currently covers the five biggest markets in Western Europe (UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain) as well as the USA. We will progressively expand to all other European countries and emerging countries in the coming weeks and months.
Three categories of tables are already available for each market:
- Advertising revenue data for television, Internet and other major media
- Advertising revenues of the major commercial broadcasters in each market
- Advertising ratios allowing the cross-comparison of markets (e.g. total TV advertising per capita)
We will in the near future be adding tables on emerging, converging advertising formats such as in-game advertising, mobile advertising and online TV advertising.
