At the Video Entertainment 2010 congress in Munich, Screen Digest Research Analyst Richard Baxter provided a detailed analysis of the outlook for 3D Blu-ray Disc (BD). The presentation considers why 3D is important to home video and where 3D BD fits into the 3D ecosystem as well as assessing the 3D BD release slate to date and examining the role of 2D-to-3D conversion. It also contains Screen Digest's 3D TV forecasts and preliminary 3D BD forecasts for the US and Germany.
