Bringing 3D home: Content and technology for 3D in the living room

Presented at 3D Dagen in the Netherlands in November 2010, head of TV Technology Tom Morrod presented the updated view from IHS Screen Digest on 3D, with particular focus on the content production, distribution and delivery to the home. While broadcasters are pushing additional space for transmission the content costs must drop in order to help build sustainable and monetisable content libraries.
