Digital cinema takes off in Europe

3D screens account for 74 per cent of all digital screens in Europe, having increased in number six-fold during 2009. The number of digital screens tripled over the same period. France is now the leading d-cinema territory in Europe, with close to 1,000 d-screens at the end of 2009.
