New-release Features on Video Still Down in Q1 2010

Analysis of the first quarter new-release video slate finds studio revenue from shipments of new films on disc to the rental and retail markets are still in steep decline. Overall sales of packaged video also continued to decline in the first half of 2010, despite some signs of economic recovery in consumer spending on other goods.
