Blu-Ray Disc Consumers Profiled

The proportion of Blu-ray discs bought by 25-45 year olds rose to over 70 per cent in 2009, up from around 60 per cent in the previous year. Meanwhile one third of consumers now buy Blu-rays for family use, and less buy them for gifts. This report on consumer profiles of Blu-ray consumers in the UK also reveals that the number of consumers who know that BD players can also play DVDs is worryingly low
