Stable global film production hides decline in key territories

The volume of world feature production remained stable in 2010, rising slightly by 1.1 per cent over 2009, according to IHS Screen Digest's reference report for the 2010 global film production year. The report includes core annual data for volume of global film output, levels of co-production between territories, total investment in feature films and territories ranked by average production budgets. It also includes data from additional territories such as Vietnam, Serbia and Lebanon not covered in the regular Cinema Intelligence service. Commentary of developments by world region is also contained in this report.
