A Bravia New World: Sony restructures TV division

Sony has announced an extensive restructuring of its TV division, to take place in 2012. The new business plan will see TVs broadly categorised into 3 new business units, which will focus respectively on shipments of existing LCD TVs, volume sales of third-party OEM designs, and development of next-generation TVs.
