International strengthens share of world video spend

The international video industry continues to outperform North America in spending terms, declining 2.1 per cent on average each year over the past five years compared against a 5.4 per cent decline in North American spending. As a result, the international video industry continues to increase its importance on the world stage, accounting for almost 56 per cent of global spending on physical video in 2010, up from a 52 per cent share in 2005.
