2010 hardware sales, software sales and software sales value outperformed forecasts by a small margin but still declined, as improved sales of Xbox 360 helped offset declines on other platforms such as the Wii and DS. This annual market monitor looks at the World, USA, Western Europe and Japan markets for dedicated games hardware and associated software. It also examines our current outlook for 2011 in those territories for existing platforms and any new platforms coming to market during the year.
