About Home Entertainment KPIs
The Entertainment Key Performance Indicators (KPI) is a premium service available to IHS Screen Digest clients who subscribe to all TV Intelligence, Video Intelligence and Broadband Media Intelligence services.
As the leading global provider of media intelligence IHS Screen Digest have developed Entertainment KPIs as natural extension of our reports and online intelligence services. Entertainment KPIs bring together key metrics from across the TV, Video and Broadband services. Using the highly granular data held within these services to adjust those top line metrics to create directly comparable data sets. This provides subscribers with easy access to information on the video and music sectors, whether delivered on physical media, digitally over the open Internet or via TV-based (walled garden) VOD services.
The data is presented for 37 individual countries and eight regional totals offering clients the most a complete picture of paid-for home entertainment market performance available.
The Entertainment KPIs at launch measure the following 14 distribution channels through the following metrics: Transactions, Consumer revenue (excluding sales tax) and Consumer spending (including sales tax) - in local currency, Euros and US Dollars, using both variable and fixed exchange rates where appropriate.
